Procedures
You may ask us for the application form, but the most convenient way is
that you download the
Application
Form
on our
Download Centre.
Please fill out the form with detailed information. We suggest that you
fill it out by computer instead of by hand to make sure that the
information is clear enough and easy to read. You may Fax or Email the
filled form to us. Please set the topic of your Email as "application".
Please include your telephone number, address, mobile phone number, e-mail, etc.
We will inform you of your application. Meanwhile, we
will check your qualifications and tell you the result as
soon as possible. We will contact you if further information is regarded
or needed.
We will send you an Admission Notice and visa clearance form (JW202) after
the qualification examination. Please note it usually takes 30 days to receive those
two documents after you are informed of the result of your qualification
examination.
Admitted students should take the Admission notice, visa clearance form
(JW202) and physical examination record for foreigners to the Chinese
embassy to apply for an "X" visa (study more than six months) or
"F" visa
(study less than six months).
Admitted students should register at the College of International Education
(CIE) within the registration period printed on the Admission notice.
Please undertake the registration procedures upon
arrival at Guilin.
For a successful registration, the applicant should provide:

Admission Notice and JW202 form .
•
Health Certificate and the blood examination report. (It is unnecessary
for those students who will study for less than 6 months)

About
the Physical Examination:
Items of the physical examination can be seen in the physical examination record
for foreigners on our Website. Please bring with you the original
physical examination record for registration.
visa Application :
Please apply for your visa
in the Chinese embassy with documents we have sent you, such as the
Admission notice, visa application form for foreigners (JW202
form), and other things (i.e.: photos or passport) demanded by the Chinese embassy. you can choose one of following kinds of visas to apply for
according to your study period:
1) Study visa (X visa), suitable for foreigners who will stay in
China for more than 180 days;
2) Visiting visa (F visa), suitable for foreigners who will stay in
China for less than 180 days;
3) Tourist visa (L visa), suitable for foreigners who will stay in
China for less than 30 days.

Residence
Permit: If you hold an
X visa and
your study period is over 180 days, we will help you obtain your residence
permit within a month of your arrival at Guilin University of Technology. (for more information, please see the
Visa & Residence Permit )
Documents to bring with you:
Passport, the
Admission Notice, visa application form for foreigners (JW202
form), 6 photos (passport size), physical examination record for
foreigners.
Joining
the class after registration deadline:
If you apply for Admission after the term begins, we suggest that you
join the class in the middle of the term on condition that you have
acquired certain Chinese language skills.
